A Drive That Never Quits - A Heart That Never Melts

Carts like these cheered me up as a kid after a long day at school. Selling ice cream on foot like this is quite literally an uphill battle, especially in Puerto Rico. The pavement is like walking on lunar surface, if the surface of the moon also happened to be scorched earth. Not everyday is great payday, but this man does God’s work giving his sweat for kids to have their sweets. The job is not for the weak of heart and I’m forever grateful for their resilience.
